Basketball Game Preview: Graceville Tigers vs. Holmes County Blue Devils

The Graceville Tigers will head out to face off against the Holmes County Blue Devils at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Graceville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6 points per game this season.

Graceville took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 79-28 victory over Vernon. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Graceville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mj Yeager, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Bryson Reynolds was another key player, going 6 for 12 en route to 15 points.

Graceville was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Holmes County ended up a good deal behind Blountstown on Monday and lost 58-44.

Holmes County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Graceville, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Graceville came up short against Holmes County when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 51-47. Can Graceville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
