Soccer Game Preview: Orange Park vs. Ridgeview

The Orange Park Raiders will head out to face off against the Ridgeview Panthers at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Orange Park's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, Orange Park and Middleburg finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview came into Wednesday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let Bishop Snyder onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Ridgeview's win bumped their record up to 4-5. With that draw, Orange Park's record moves to 1-5-2.

Orange Park beat Ridgeview by a goal when the teams last played back in November, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Orange Park since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
