Baseball Recap: Rehoboth Christian Takes a Loss

Rehoboth Christian had lost five straight at home, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 7-9 to make it six. They came up short against the Hozho Academy Wolves, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Lynx's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Hozho Academy, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games.

For Hozho Academy's part, Philip Elkins was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolves beat Rehoboth Christian by a score of 4-3 later that day.
