Basketball Recap: North Branch Comes Up Short

North Branch came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets and fell 97-63. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Bluejackets: they've now lost six in a row.

North Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Cambridge-Isanti, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-10.

Coming up, North Branch will welcome Pine City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cambridge-Isanti, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-52 loss against Duluth East on the 8th.
