Meanwhile, Guerin Catholic also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Carmel by a score of 3-1. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
While Guerin Catholic had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18.
Tri-West Hendricks will have to contain Natalie Laughon as she made an impact in Guerin Catholic's last game. She had 28 digs.
Tri-West Hendricks' loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Guerin Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-7.
