Palmetto Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They skirted past the First Baptist School Hurricanes 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Palmetto Christian Academy was the better team in the second half.

Addison Surratt and Juliet Olson scored all three of Palmetto Christian Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

This is the second loss in a row for First Baptist School and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmetto Christian Academy will square off against Pinewood Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for First Baptist School, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. First Baptist School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
