Sierra Vista had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Western Warriors a 10-0 shutout. Sierra Vista haven't had any issues with Western recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Sierra Vista's offense was hitting Western from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Sophia Aragon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
