Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Hills Christian Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sheridan Hills Christian can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Cushman Cougars on Thursday. The Sharks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Mahalia Senatus paced Sheridan Hills Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Senatus got some help from Jasmine Cummings and her 18 assists. Deborah Point Du Jour controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Sheridan Hills Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Cushman, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Sheridan Hills Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cushman, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Sagemont Prep on the 17th.
