Baseball Recap: Sherman Takes a Loss

Sherman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to the McKinney Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 last Monday.

Sherman's record is now 1-7. As for McKinney, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bearcats challenge the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McKinney, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lakeview Centennial at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. McKinney is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
