Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton). They put the hurt on the Fairfield Central Griffins with a sharp 13-1 victory on Tuesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

Clinton's win bumped their record up to 5-10-1. As for Fairfield Central, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Clinton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Griffins: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
