West Vigo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 51-36 to the Owen Valley Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 46-18 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lily Ramirez, who had ten points. Ramirez is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Lydia Jones, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

West Vigo will welcome Clay City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Owen Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Eminence at 6:00 p.m. Both have allowed few points on average, (Owen Valley: 29.4, Eminence: 30) so any points scored will be well earned.
