Volleyball Game Preview: Farmington Phoenix vs. Hillcrest Huskies

The Farmington Phoenix will challenge the Hillcrest Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Farmington made easy work of Fremont and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Phoenix in their matchups with the Silverwolves: they've now won four in a row.

Farmington walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hillcrest, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tooele on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2.

Hillcrest was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-27, 21-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Hillcrest's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Farmington, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
