Softball Recap: Fenton Comes Up Short

Fenton fell victim to Linden and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Lillian Tillier spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.

Fenton's loss dropped their record down to 21-5-1. As for Linden, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-2.

While Fenton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
