Football Recap: Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Comes Up Short

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton lost against Elk Point-Jefferson back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans lost to the Huskies at home by a 32-14 margin. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will host Wagner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Red Raiders have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they will square off against Winner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
