Basketball Game Preview: Wahkiakum Mules vs. Washington School for the Deaf Terriers

Having just played yesterday, the Wahkiakum Mules will head out on the road to face off against the Washington School for the Deaf Terriers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Wahkiakum's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Wahkiakum is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Toledo just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell to the Indians 60-56.

Meanwhile, Washington School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 53-21 loss at the hands of Pe Ell. The Terriers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-4.

Wahkiakum will need focus on slowing down Kadyn Carver, one of several Washington School for the Deaf players who made an impact when they last played. He posted eight points. Carver is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. La'Juan Malone was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals.

Wahkiakum's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Washington School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
