Basketball Recap: Kensington's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

On Tuesday, the Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 61-56 to the TECH Freire Charter Dragons. The KENSINGTON TIGER have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kensington's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reid Smith, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Nyree Ellis, who earned 15 points.

Kensington's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. As for TECH Freire Charter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

Kensington has already played their next match, a 49-33 victory against Belmont Charter on the 19th. As for TECH Freire Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-41 win against Philadelphia Academy Charter on the 19th.
