Dynamic duo of Amare Adams and Jarius Davis lead South Florence to victory

Recap: South Florence Bruins vs. North Myrtle Beach Chiefs

The South Florence Bruins entered their tilt with the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. South Florence secured a 64-58 W over North Myrtle Beach on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

South Florence was led to victory by Amare Adams and Jarius Davis. Adams scored 15 points along with two steals, while Davis scored ten points along with six steals. Davis continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Robinson, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.

South Florence's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for North Myrtle Beach, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Florence will face off against West Florence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Florence will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 138th, while South Florence is ranked 36th). As for North Myrtle Beach, they will head out on the road to take on Myrtle Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
