Softball Game Preview: Maroa-Forsyth Trojans vs. Olympia Spartans

The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans will take on the Olympia Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maroa-Forsyth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Monday just wasn't the day for Maroa-Forsyth's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Joseph-Ogden on Monday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Olympia came up short against Mt. Zion on Saturday and fell 6-3.

Olympia's loss ended a 17-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-7-1. As for Maroa-Forsyth, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
