Clarksville faced Houston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 13-4 win. Considering the Wildcats have won 21 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Clarksville is on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Houston, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 29-14.
