Clay Center had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rose Hill Rockets on Saturday. The Tigers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 24 straight.

Clay Center easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-7.

Raimee Lipker paced Clay Center's offense, picking up ten kills. Lipker got some help from Raicee Lipker and her 24 assists. Raicee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Clay Center's win bumped their record up to 38-2. As for Rose Hill, they dropped their record down to 20-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Clay Center will face off against Buhler at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The last four games the Crusaders have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Rose Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
