Softball Game Preview: Harvey Hornets vs. Garrison Troopers

The Harvey Hornets will head out to face off against the Garrison Troopers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Harvey fell victim to Beulah and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miners. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Miners: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Garrison came up short against Hazen on Monday, falling 22-2.

Harvey's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Garrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Harvey got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Garrison by a conclusive 23-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
