Baseball Recap: Urbana Takes a Loss

Urbana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Richwoods Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Wednesday.

Urbana saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Pettit, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Urbana's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Richwoods, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-10.

Looking ahead, Urbana will head out to challenge Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Richwoods, they will host Peoria Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
