Midland is a perfect 6-0 against Central since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Chemics will head out on the road to take on Wolves at 4:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Wednesday, Midland didn't have quite enough to beat Dow and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 12-0 to Bay City Western. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 338th, while Bay City Western are ranked 35th).

Midland's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 5-2-1. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Midland got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Central by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chemics since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
