Lighthouse Baptist Academy had already won four in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the South Baldwin Christian Academy Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Friday.

Lighthouse Baptist Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 24-26, 25-16, 25-23, 16-14.

Despite the loss, South Baldwin Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Myah Molina, who had 25 digs and nine aces.

Lighthouse Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South Baldwin Christian Academy, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.

Lighthouse Baptist Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pensacola Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th. As for South Baldwin Christian Academy, they will square off against Central Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
