Football Recap: Clearfield Takes a Loss

Clearfield lost against Box Elder back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons received a blow as they fell 24-7 to the Bees. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Judd Howells had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 118 yards for Box Elder. Howells' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 118 rushing yards.

Clearfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Box Elder, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Clearfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 24-20 loss against Northridge on the 15th. As for Box Elder, they have also already played their next game, a 39-12 victory against West Field on the 17th.
