Softball Recap: Raton Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Raton can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Loving Falcons on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost nine in a row.

Raton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Loving, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Raton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loving, they have already played their next contest, a 7-0 victory against Capitan on the 15th.
