Volleyball Game Preview: Johns Creek Gladiators vs. Habersham Central Raiders

The Johns Creek Gladiators will face off against the Habersham Central Raiders on Saturday. Johns Creek will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Johns Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Chamblee 3-0.

Johns Creek was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-18, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Habersham Central posted their closest victory since September 25th on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Effingham County.

Habersham Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 16-25, 25-22, 25-15, 15-13.

Johns Creek's record is now 22-9. As for Habersham Central, their record now sits at 27-9.

Johns Creek beat Habersham Central 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2015. Will the Gladiators repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
