Volleyball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll lost against Archbishop McNicholas on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots came up short against the Rockets, falling 3-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Grace Dooley paced Carroll's offense, picking up nine kills. Dooley were helped by Gabbi Dooley and Meghan Maxwell, who contributed seven assists each.

Carroll now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Archbishop McNicholas, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Carroll has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Stebbins on the 1st. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Anderson on the 4th.
