Volleyball Recap: Edgemont Comes Up Short

Edgemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crawford Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Raelee Provorse paced Edgemont's offense, picking up 12 kills. Provorse got some help from Kaylee Mergen and her nine assists.

Edgemont's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Crawford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-10.

Looking ahead, Edgemont will square off against Lakota Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crawford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
