Concord-Carlisle lost against Newton South back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots fell 3-1 to the Lions. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Concord-Carlisle ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 18-25, 25-17.

Concord-Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Newton South, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Concord-Carlisle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Westford Academy on the 16th. As for Newton South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Waltham on the 16th.
