Basketball Recap: Lapwai Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Lois Oatman and Madden Bisbee

If Lapwai was feeling good fresh off their 57-36 takedown of Kamiah last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lapwai Wildcats lost to the Prairie Pirates on the road by a 68-49 margin on Wednesday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 50-46.

Madden Bisbee and Lois Oatman certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Bisbee posted ten points, while Oatman dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. Oatman is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played.

Lapwai's loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Prairie, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Lapwai nor Prairie have any future games scheduled.
