Softball Game Preview: Eastern Greene Thunderbirds vs. Eminence Eels

Eastern Greene hasn't had much luck against Eminence recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Thunderbirds will head out on the road to take on the Eels at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Greene has given up an average of 14.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eastern Greene came up short against South Knox on Friday, falling 21-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Eminence was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They lost 18-1 to Monrovia.

Eastern Greene's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Eminence, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Eastern Greene couldn't quite get it done against Eminence in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 as they fell 8-3. Can the Thunderbirds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
