Huron is 1-9 against Brandon Valley since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Huron Tigers will host the Brandon Valley Lynx at 6:00 p.m.

Huron is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They were beaten by O'Gorman 63-36. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Knights are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Brandon Valley came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Kernels 60-34. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 24 points or more this season.

Brandon Valley pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.2 points. As for Huron, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.
