Our Lady of the Lake Catholic dropped their record down to 9-13 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 13-7 to the Michigan Lutheran Titans. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Evan Watts was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Anthony Jasheway was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

As for Michigan Lutheran, the win got them back to even at 12-12. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

On Michigan Lutheran's side, Ty Johnson was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Johnson has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ben Liebich, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Our Lady of the Lake Catholic will take on Bridgman at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Michigan Lutheran, they will venture away from home to square off against New Buffalo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Bison have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
