Soccer Game Preview: MacDonald vs. Lynbrook

MacDonald is 0-3 against Lynbrook since January of 2025 but things could change on Wednesday. The Condor will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

MacDonald fell victim to Cupertino and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, MacDonald can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 946th, while Cupertino are ranked 417th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lynbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let Gunn get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Friday. Lynbrook wouldn't have won without Aiden Nie, who scored the game-winner.

MacDonald's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-2. As for Lynbrook, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-4.
