Softball Recap: McDonogh 35 Comes Up Short

McDonogh 35 was the 21-6 winner over Frederick A. Douglass when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Roneagles came up short against the Bobcats on Thursday, falling 16-9.

McDonogh 35's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Frederick A. Douglass, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McDonogh 35 will take on New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frederick A. Douglass, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against New Orleans Charter Science & Math at 4:30 p.m.
