Soccer Recap: Bloomfield Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bloomfield had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Gallup Bengals as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Andrew Himes was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Gallup, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bloomfield will face off against rival Miyamura at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gallup is set to challenge their familiar foe Aztec at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
