Preview: Spotsylvania vs. Orange County
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Spotsylvania should expect quite the challenge on Wednesday. They will look to defend their home turf against Orange County at 7:00 PM. Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
Spotsylvania were able to grind out a solid win over Fluvanna County two weeks ago, winning 21-14.
Meanwhile, Orange County might have drawn first blood against Eastern View last week, but it was Eastern View who got the last laugh. Orange County were completely outmatched, falling 14-49 to Eastern View. Orange County were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-28.
Spotsylvania's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Orange County's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll see if Spotsylvania's success rolls on or if Orange County are able to steal their positive momentum.
