Basketball Recap: Ashland Extends Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ashland had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They strolled past the Norwalk Truckers with points to spare, taking the game 58-44. The victory was familiar territory for the Arrows, who have now won four contests in a row.

Ashland's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Hoffman, who posted 21 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Hoffman a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Lacey, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds.

Ashland's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Norwalk, their loss dropped their record down to 22-3.

Coming up, Ashland will take on Notre Dame Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Norwalk does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
