Monroe kept up with Huron until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The River Rats never let the Trojans get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Considering Huron have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Huron pushed their record up to 12-0-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Monroe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11-1 record this season.
