Basketball Game Preview: Natoma Tigers vs. Victoria Knights

The Natoma Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Victoria Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Natoma has struggled recently with nine losses in a row, while Victoria will arrive with six straight wins.

Natoma is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Lakeside on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Natoma was beaten by Lakeside 63-27. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-17.

Natoma's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Colton Prowse, who posted six points and seven boards, and Kelden Rubottom, who had seven points.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Victoria against Ness City on Friday as the squad secured a 69-33 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Victoria pushed their record up to 13-5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Natoma, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.
