After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kailua, Moanalua was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Wai'anae Seariders 27-13. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Menehune also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Moanalua pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.0 points over those games. As for Wai'anae, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moanalua will venture away from home to face off against Radford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Menehune will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.78 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wai'anae, they will head out to square off against Kaiser at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
