Timber Creek lost to Wekiva back in January of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Timber Creek Wolves came out on top against the Wekiva Mustangs by a score of 44-32. The win was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Timber Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Taylor led the charge by putting up 11 points along with six boards and three steals. Joshua Perry was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points.

Timber Creek was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wekiva only racked up four assists.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Juju Johnson, who posted nine points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Dieujuste, who had five points and eight boards.

Timber Creek has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Wekiva, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Timber Creek will take on Edgewater in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Timber Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season. As for Wekiva, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-57 defeat against North Marion on the 14th.
