The Buckeye Local Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the River Pilots at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Buckeye Local is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Wednesday, Buckeye Local was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-45 to River.
Despite the defeat, Buckeye Local got a solid performance out of Brynn McKeever, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maddy Roset, who scored nine points.
Buckeye Local has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for River, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
