Soccer Recap: North Clayton Wins Going Away Against Cedar Grove

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Clayton). They never let the Cedar Grove Saints get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

North Clayton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. Cedar Grove is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Clayton will head out to take on Sandy Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedar Grove, they are taking a road trip to square off against Luella at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Luella will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Cedar Grove surely won't give up without a fight.
