Volleyball Recap: Brenham Takes a Loss

Brenham lost against A&M Consolidated back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cubs lost 3-0 to the Tigers.

Brenham took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-19.

Antyiahna Lang paced Brenham's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lang got some help from Brinley Benson and her 18 assists. Hannah Bush controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brenham's defeat dropped their record down to 24-18. As for A&M Consolidated, they have been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brenham is set to take on their familiar foe Rudder at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, A&M Consolidated will face off against rival Montgomery at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
