Sanderson's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They took down the Enloe Eagles 44-25. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Amyah Lynn was the offensive standout of the contest as she went 6-for-13 to rack up 16 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexandra Witman, who posted three points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Sanderson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Enloe's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Naysa Bhalodia, who scored six points and six rebounds. Aniya Fletcher was another key player, putting up four points and 13 boards.

The victory got Sanderson back to even at 1-1. As for Enloe, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Sanderson has already played their next game, a 58-52 defeat against Clayton on the 21st. As for Enloe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-9 loss against East Wake on the 21st.
