Soccer Game Preview: Pike Road vs. Hoover

The Pike Road Patriots will challenge the Hoover Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Pike Road came up short against Franklin Christian Academy and fell 3-1. Pike Road have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hoover faced Florence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Buccaneers walked away with a 4-2 win over the Falcons. Patrick Anderson was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Hoover and bumps their season record up to 14-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Pike Road, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1.
