Football Game Preview: Chicago Christian Knights vs. Aurora Christian Eagles

The Chicago Christian Knights will take on the Aurora Christian Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Chicago Christian took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They breezed past St. Edward to the tune of 45-0. The Knights have beaten the Green Wave the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Green Wave has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Aurora Christian got themselves on the board against Christ the King on Friday, but Christ the King never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Gladiators with a sharp 26-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Aurora Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Chicago Christian, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Chicago Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Aurora Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 28-21. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
