Soccer Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wayne County on Saturday, Warren Central came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 5-1 to the Florence Eagles on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Warren Central of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Jordan Polk, who's now up to five this season.

Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Florence, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Warren Central didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Germantown on the 13th. As for Florence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Pearl on the 13th.
